As an eBay Success Manager from Dec 2019 to Jun 2020, I quickly drove Utopia Deals to profitability within two months by optimizing dashboards with the tech team and reducing marketing costs through strategic, off-eBay channels. I managed a portfolio focused on building a profitable brand, boosting wholesale sales, generating revenue, and implementing improvements for eBay performance.

Major Achievements

  • An increase of 267% MoM profit for Utopia Deals brand on eBay

  • Helped tweak the system dashboard by working cooperatively with the Technology team.

  • Reduced the spend on marketing by 83% by increasing organic marketing activities on Pinterest, Reddit, and Instagram.

  • Achieved multiple assigned targets for 3 quarters in a record 48 days.

  • Recorded the highest number of sales with actual profits after deductions.

Previously, as a Team Lead - Content & Communications from Mar 2017 to Nov 2019, they developed customer support practices, managed digital content across platforms like Amazon and eBay, led digital marketing efforts, engaged with influencers, and generated sales-qualified leads for B2B growth initiatives, contributing to the organization's sales and brand development.

At Cloudways, I collaborated closely with the SEO and content teams to decrease the bounce rate of the company's blog and website while optimizing brand content. I authored a wide range of materials—including tutorials, product reviews, marketing collateral, event brochures, emails, website pages, SLAs, and social media content—leading to continuous improvements in processes and search rankings. I trained fellow Content Developers on product dynamics and industry practices.

Working with internal teams, I gained an in-depth understanding of the product and documentation requirements to produce high-quality, audience-appropriate content. I analyzed existing and potential content for reuse and single-sourcing opportunities and maintained the content calendar for both brand and community initiatives.

My passion for storytelling and exploration led me to volunteer with National Geographic, where I had the privilege of contributing to projects that highlight the beauty and diversity of our planet. During my time with National Geographic, I assisted in field research, collaborated with photographers and writers, and helped document cultures, wildlife, and environmental issues across various regions.

This experience not only broadened my horizons but also deepened my commitment to global awareness and conservation. Working alongside some of the most talented and dedicated professionals in the field, I learned the power of compelling narratives to inspire change and connect people worldwide.
